How to Use ChatGPT Inside Asana

Why bring ChatGPT into Asana at all

Most teams already lean on ChatGPT to draft copy, summarise long threads, rewrite a message or break a big task into smaller ones. The friction is the context switch. You leave Asana, paste the relevant details into another tab, copy the answer back, and hope you did not lose anything along the way. Done twenty times a day, that adds up.

How it works

With Astogi's ChatGPT for Asana integration, you mention a dedicated Astogi user in a task comment and type your question. Astogi sends the prompt to OpenAI and posts the reply back as a comment on the same task. There is no browser extension to install on every machine and no API key to manage per person.

Because the answer is a normal Asana comment, everyone collaborating on the task sees it, and it stays attached to the task history.

Setting it up

1. Open the Asana project you want to add ChatGPT to.
2. Invite the Astogi ChatGPT user into that project.
3. In any task, add a comment that mentions the user followed by your question.
4. Wait a few seconds for the answer to appear as a reply.

That is the whole setup. There is nothing to configure per team member.
